The World Record Attempt

Known as the world’s toughest row, more people have been into space or climbed Everest than have rowed the Atlantic.

As a mainland to mainland crossing, from Lagos, Portugal to Cayenne, French Guiana it is 500 miles longer than the more popular route from the Canary Islands to Antigua. The length of the row is matched not only by the extremes of the weather we will face but also by the conditions we will endure, making blisters, sunstroke and sleep deprivation routine. Not to forget the sharks!
